National Clean Up Campaign under the Economic Recovery Programme
In October 2020, the government implemented an Economic Recovery Programme which comprises a package of measures aimed at boosting GDP growth, protecting jobs and creating new ones, reducing dependence on imports and improving the well being of the population.
Under this programme, technically unemployed people across the island are being employed on contract basis by Mauri-Facilities to carry out the Clean Up and Embellishment Campaign.
The campaign is being held in collaboration with the 12 Local Authorities across the island for major cleaning and embellishment works.
The professional cleaners of Mauri-Facilities can be seen in action across the island with the aim to embellish the environment.
